Grand Opening: Wayne High School Engineering Labs
The community is invited to celebrate an exciting milestone in career and technical education at Wayne High School.
On Thursday, February 12, from 4–6 p.m., Wayne High School will host the Grand Opening of its newly expanded Engineering Labs, made possible through a $2 million state Career Technical Education (CTE) equipment grant awarded to Huber Heights City Schools.
This investment has transformed Wayne’s engineering program with two new 21st-century learning labs focused on advanced manufacturing, automation, and design, along with updated equipment and professional training for staff in emerging technologies. These upgrades are designed to better prepare students for in-demand careers and strengthen the local workforce pipeline.
The open house will showcase the new engineering and robotics spaces, and guests will also have the opportunity to tour additional career tech labs, including:
