Introducing New Event Series Names

In our continuous endeavor to refresh and revitalize our event offerings, we’re excited to unveil new names for some of our popular event series:

  • The “Chamber Speaker Series” will now be known as “Business with a Bite,” promising insightful discussions in an engaging setup while still enjoying an included lunch.
  • “Coffee Talk,” our once-a-month Friday gathering, will now be “Grounds for Discussion,” continuing to provide a platform for invigorating conversations.

Revamped Website Navigation: Welcome to the Member Portal

Navigating our website is now more intuitive and strategic, thanks to the overhaul of our menu bar:

  • The “Online Shop” link has been rebranded to “Member Portal.”
  • A hover or tap on the Member Portal reveals additional options such as Membership Renewals, New Membership, Invoice Payments, and User Account Management, ensuring a seamless online experience.

Streamlined Event Registration and Calendar Integration

Event registration is now more streamlined than ever, with significant enhancements to functionality and user interface:

  • RSVP and ticket purchasing for Chamber events are directly integrated into the event listings on our Calendar Page and events sidebar widget and will no longer be under the former “Online Shop” navigation menu.
  • Newly introduced, you can now RSVP to events that don’t require a paid ticket, such as ribbon cuttings, grand openings, community events, and our ‘Grounds for Discussion’ sessions. While not mandatory, RSVPs are highly encouraged to assist us in estimating attendance and ensuring every event is a success.
  • The ticket selection and purchase process is simplified, with additional ticket holder details now collected at the Checkout Page.
  • Stay informed about upcoming events by subscribing to our calendar. If you are logged into your user account on our website, you will now see a new button on the sidebar where you can opt-in to receive email notifications for newly added events, ensuring you never miss out on Chamber and city happenings. If you do not see it, you are likely not logged in.

More News, More Stories, More Insights

Our commitment to keeping you informed has led to an increase in the frequency and variety of news articles:

  • Explore more community news, member-provided updates, new member introductions, grand openings, city events, and more.
  • Never miss an update with our revamped “New Articles” section. Our navigation menu now features improved categorization, allowing you to effortlessly browse the latest articles by their specific categories and access an extensive archive. While our front page will continue showcasing featured news, these upgrades ensure that you can conveniently revisit any content you may have missed.

Enhanced Membership Directory

The online Membership Directory is undergoing a transformation to provide a more comprehensive and interactive display of our business members:

  • Expect UI enhancements and additional details for each member, including social media links, service categories, business logos, and more.
  • Members are encouraged to provide updated business information and logos to ensure the directory remains a valuable resource.
