Chamber Speaker Series Luncheon – June 8

Chamber Speaker Series

Monica Kuhns

This month’s luncheon will be focused on Intentional Growth – growing your business with focus and intention. Our speaker, Monica Kuhns, hit a breaking point in 2011. She was in a place that so many small business owners find themselves: Wildly overworked, severely underpaid, and desperately seeking relief from being owned by her business. As a former nurse with her own home care company for almost 15 years, she was drowning in tasks, distracted by team drama, and dealing with employee disengagement. Monica was doubting her ability to be an effective leader, and went searching for help. It was then that she encountered her now mentor, John Maxwell, and when she started learning and applying his Maxwell Leadership Principles, she experienced a complete turnaround, as did her business. Today, Monica shows other small business owners how to maximize their leadership capacity and increase the effectiveness of their team so they can own their business without their business owning them. Success doesn’t happen by accident, it happens by intention.

This event will be held at the Huber Heights Community Center, 4301 Powell Rd, beginning at 11:30am and will include a boxed lunch from Jimmy Johns. The cost will be $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members. Please indicate your desired lunch choice at the time of registration.

Your RSVP is required to ensure we have enough food for all attendees.
