In Support of Montgomery County Drug Free Coalition (MCDFC)

The Miami Valley Young Marines (MVYM) reported a very successful operational year in those activities that support their primary operational mission of drug demand resistance and reduction (DDR).  However, the DDR battle must continue.  The MVYM maintain a highly valued cooperative relationship with like-minded organizations, one of these being the Montgomery County Drug Free Coalition (MCDFC) sponsored by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).  To assist them, the MVYM will conduct the following fund-raising event, the proceeds of which will support MCDFC efforts.

WHAT:  Pancake and Sausage Breakfast

WHO:  ALL Montgomery County residents are invited

WHEN:  8 AM to 1 PM, Sunday, 10 March 2019

WHERE:  Huber Heights Masonic Lodge 777, 7778 Wildcat Road, Huber Heights OH

COST:  is $5 per person (at the door).  There will be 50/50 and other raffles and a donation jar.

Drug demand resistance and reduction (DDR) is a very complex issue.  MCDFC members will be there to explain the current DDR challenge; to answer questions; and, to assist attendees in any individual issues they may have.  Along with MVYM Staff and Young Marines will be Phil Plummer (Ohio State Representative, District 40) Rob Streck (Montgomery County Sheriff); Major Jeremy Roy (MCSO); Bruce Langos (MCSO Director of the Criminal Intelligence Center and MCDFC Board Chair); Wendie Jackson (DEA Community Outreach Specialist); and, Erik Blaine (Director, Miami Valley Crime Lab and Montgomery County Coroner’s Office).

If you have any questions about this event or about the Young Marines, please contact the MVYM Unit Commander, Keagan Miller at 937-838-7504 or Email to keagan.miller@gmail.com.
