News from Wright Patterson Air Force Base July 1, 2010
The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is gearing up to hire more than 275 tech-related workers over the next 18 months. A majority of these positions require a STEM background (science, technology, engineering and math). In addition to the tech-related jobs openings at AFRL there will also be medical –related job openings because of BRAC and the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine moving to WPAFB.About 1,200 new military and civilian positions are in the process of moving to Wright-Patt from other bases in Texas, Florida, Arizona, New York and Massachusetts.
