Arts and Entertainment

Ideally located less than 5 minutes from Dayton, Huber Heights offers many regional attractions. If you are interested in the arts you might want to visit the Dayton Art Institute, Dayton Cultural Center, Dayton Visual Arts Center, or the Rosewood Arts Centre and Rosewood Gallery.

For the history buff, we have many attractions including: Carillon Historical Park, America’s Packard Museum, Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, Dayton Aviation Trail Driving Tour, Dayton International Peace Museum, Montgomery County Historical Society, National Aviation Hall of Fame, National Museum of the United States Air Force and IMAX Theatre, Oregon Historic District, Patterson Homestead and Gardens, Paul Laurence Dunbar House State Memorial, State of Ohio Korean War Memorial and All Veterans Walkway, SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park, Walton House Museum, Wright B Flyer, Wright Brothers’ Hawthorn Hill Mansion, Wright Cycle Company and the Wright Memorial and Huffman Prairie Flying Field.

Or, if you would like to enjoy the beautiful parks and nature reserves, you can visit Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm, Brukner Nature Center, Canal Lock Park, Carriage Hill MetroPark and Farm, Cox Arboretum and Gardens MetroPark, Huffman River Corridor Bikeway, or Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark.

If you enjoy sports, we’ll take you out to the ballgame with the Dayton Dragons Professional Baseball Team. Or for hands-on fun, we have the Marian Poelking Bowling Center and Hazzard’s Miniature Golf right in the center of our city.

We are one of only five regions nationwide with five professional arts companies performing at Victoria Theatre. The Schuster Center brings many cultural performances to the area. Sinclair Community College and Wright State University also provide entertainment including plays and musicals. The Erwin J. Nutter Center hosts nationally known celebrities and Huber Heights also offers the Heights Community Theatre made up of citizens from the community; they perform several times throughout the year.

All this, plus more, is within 15 minutes of Huber Heights.
